I thought they were going to total my truck and give me $1200 or so and I was going to have to buy it back. Naw son, they are not even going to total it out, so the title stays clean, and AND they are going to hand over `$3200.

Did you narrow it down to a color(s)?

I think I am going to go with French Racing Blue, actually.

That is rare! Once the check clears could you post the name of the company? They sound fair.
This F100 has been on my radar for a while.
It's a 66 that needs a home soon. The missing chunk of the bed quarter and the six banger are scaring me off.

I know right! It is Farmers Insurance, I must say they have been amazing through the whole thing.
Mine is a '66 as well. Don't let the big six scare you off. Is it a 240 or a 300? Mine had a 240 to start with and has a 300 now. I didn't think I would like it but I have ended up loving this engine.

Yay.

Farmers? That explains it.
Im betting on the 240 but I haven't seen it in person yet. If I get it a 300 swap would be in the cards. The 4.9/300 was a great mill.

You don't have to swap the whole engine - only the rotating assemblies are different. The 300 is a torque monster, and both are very solid engines that will last almost forever.
